We are more of a wandering group visiting various museums & sites during spring & summer combined with group meetings at local venues. Members of the group will take it in turns to arrange these visits which will be made using car sharing.
At the moment our winter meeting place is at the Happy Cafe at Sandtoft Airfield. Here we can enjoy coffee, tea etc whilst watching light planes land & take off. A location map can be found in our Photo Gallery.
This subject is quite broad as it can cover the first manned flight right up to the most modern airliner. Also, as we live in Bomber County there is a wealth of local information & sites of interest if you know where to look.
