The gardening group’s season is from April through to September. We usually visit private gardens in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire up to about thirty miles away. It is an advantage to have your own transport, but it is possible to have a lift if you don’t.
The group doesn’t always meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month, although we try to.
It is sometimes not possible to make arrangements with the garden owners for that exact day.
We always meet at the garden at 2pm and leave at the latest about 4pm. Depending on where the garden is, the trip may take up four hours.
The group is very friendly and the gardens inspirational. This year we had good weather too. Fingers crossed for next season.
